Since 2023, the Borderless Debate program, organized by Africa Without Borders, has provided a unique platform for African youth to develop critical thinking, engage in active debate, and propose innovative ideas on the continent’s strategic issues. Beyond traditional approaches, this program emphasizes developing public speaking skills, persuasive abilities, and the capacity to defend strategic positions, thereby contributing to the formation of tomorrow’s leaders. The 3rd edition, scheduled for May 10, 2026, will take place in a rapidly changing global context, marked by accelerating technological advances and the emergence of multiple centers of power. Participants will be invited to explore ways to strengthen Africa politically, economically, technologically, and geopolitically, while analyzing the role of regional cooperation and intercontinental solidarity. Main Theme Redefining African Dynamics in a Changing World: From Reflection to Action During the program, debaters will be called upon to generate and express their ideas around this theme, highlighting the central role of African youth. They will also be invited to propose concrete measures to implement in this context across different domains. In this perspective, several areas of reflection will be addressed, particularly through the following questions: What role can African youth play in the face of global transformations, and how can they become a driver of innovation and action? What strategies can be implemented to promote the unity of African states in a context of globalization and change, to strengthen cooperation and the continent’s development?
