Umoja Games Festival

Africa Without Borders (AWB) considered organizing the Umoja Games Festival in order to bring together new African students arriving in Turkey. This event aimed to allow young Africans in Turkey to discover AWB, while presenting the mission and ambitions of the organization in a fun and interactive way. As part of the festival, participants took part in various activities and competitions, including: A game of recognition of the map of Africa and its countries Riddles about cities, traditional foods and African capitals Logic and strategy games Educational games and traditional African dances The competing teams were named Tambala, Taydin, Mhezo and Soweto. At the end of the events, the Soweto team won first place and was rewarded. Throughout the festival, participants were able to showcase their skills, general culture, logical sense and talents. The jury evaluated the accuracy of the answers as well as the performance of the teams to determine the winners. Gifts and medals were awarded to the victorious teams, while all participants received a silver medal along with gifts.
