The 3rd Great African Meeting (BAB3) was organized this year under the theme: “Ukuzimela wa Afrika: Beyond an Ideology – Transforming Africa through Responsibility born from Unity”. The event aimed to analyze the processes of historical and contemporary transformation of the continent, to strengthen African unity and to highlight the central role of youth. Panel 1: Ukuzimela wa Afrika – Beyond an Ideology Transforming Africa through Responsibility born from Unity This panel focused on Africa's historical and philosophical struggle for autonomy as well as the importance of continental unity in the current context. The main themes covered were: Pathways towards real continental independence and the reduction of external dependencies African industrial, economic and technological development strategies The role of the diaspora and youth in the transformation of the continent The panel offered participants a global vision of the strategies needed to build a stronger, more autonomous and more united Africa. Panel 2: New Graduate, New Path – Building Africa’s Future with Determination This panel was devoted to the role of young graduates in the dynamics of development and leadership in Africa. The speakers discussed the importance of youth in social transformation, entrepreneurship and education, and shared experiences and recommendations in order to strengthen their contribution to the future of the continent. Graduation Ceremony and Celebration of Achievements African students who graduated during the 2024-2025 academic year were honored and celebrated at an official ceremony. Distinction of Meritorious Students Ten students – university, faculty or department majors – received certificates and distinctions in recognition of their exceptional performance.
