Africa Without Borders held its 2 ᵉ General Assembly on November 5, 2023 at Merhaba Derneği, with wide participation and great success. This event was an important moment, allowing both to evaluate the past year and to define the vision for the next mandate. The session began with the presentation of the Annual Activity Report, which detailed the actions carried out during the year: academic work, social and cultural activities, collaborations, student representation initiatives and efforts aimed at community development. The participants were thus able to learn about the projects carried out as well as the future objectives of the association. The presentation was followed by a strong artistic moment: Billali’s Poetic Declamation. One of the highlights of the General Assembly was the panel entitled “Young People and Ideals for the Future”, which aroused great interest. Speakers addressed the opportunities and challenges facing African youth, the role of diasporas, as well as issues of education and leadership. Panelists shared inspiring perspectives on how to enhance the potential of young people. The day concluded in a friendly and dynamic atmosphere thanks to an interactive Kahoot quiz, which allowed participants to test their knowledge while having fun. The winners received symbolic rewards, and this fun moment reinforced the feeling of cohesion within the group. The 2 ᵉ AWB General Assembly thus ended as a rich event, promoting solidarity between members, the construction of a common vision for the future and the active involvement of young people.
