The Debate Without Borders, organized by Africa Without Borders (AWB), provided an intellectual and participatory platform dedicated to deepening discussions on continental integration and the broader vision of an Africa without borders. This event brought together students, researchers, diplomats and young leaders for constructive discussions on Africa's most pressing challenges in governance, education and technology. One of the focal points was the role of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) for African youth, as a strategic driver of autonomy and competitiveness in the digital age. Speakers highlighted the need to expand access to education to ensure young Africans have the scientific and technological skills essential to building an innovative future for the continent. The debates also focused on models of good governance, emphasizing transparency, accountability and citizen participation as cornerstones of sustainable development. These reflections underlined the urgency of training a new generation of leaders capable of going beyond inherited borders and guiding the continent towards integration, cooperation and collective progress. Through this initiative, the Debate Without Borders reaffirmed AWB's commitment to building a united, confident and forward-looking Africa, based on knowledge, innovation and shared values.
