Culture and Flavors: Picnic

Africa Without Borders organized a picnic bringing together its members from different African countries, with the aim of strengthening community cohesion and promoting cultural ties between participants. After the meal, various activities — collective games, team competitions and interactive activities — were offered in order to promote integration and conviviality within the group. Specific spaces were set up for children, while adults participated in traditional African games, combining entertainment and cultural exchange. Short dance performances from various regions of Africa also enlivened the day, creating moments of shared joy. Throughout the event, music, conversations, photographs and cultural exchanges enriched the atmosphere. Participants had the opportunity to make new friendships while reconnecting with old acquaintances. This meeting represented much more than a simple picnic for the AWB community: it constituted a significant moment of solidarity, promotion of African identity and consolidation of common values.
