AWB visits the Africa Research and Coordination Center (AKEM)

The Africa Without Borders team paid an institutional visit to the Africa Research and Coordination Center (AKEM), where they were received by the Director General, Dr. Ensar Küçükaltan. During this meeting, the research, publication and coordination activities carried out by AKEM were presented as a priority. The AWB team then presented the organization's vision, its strategic objectives, its current projects as well as its main areas of action. Discussions focused on possibilities for cooperation between the two institutions. Concrete avenues were considered, notably AWB's contribution to the AKEM newsletter and the joint organization of Africa Day 2023. This visit thus made it possible to consolidate institutional relations between AKEM and AWB and to lay the foundations for future academic and organizational collaborations. The AWB delegation that participated in the visit was composed of: Heba Halabi, president of the AWB Moussa Hissein Moussa, Vice-President Nadjoua Hidri, Activities Manager Sywar Ayachi, Media and Communication Officer Baye Gora Seck, Advisory Member Djaranabi Djibrine Al Djazouli, media and communications officer Muhammad Khazin Abdallah, in charge of Activities.
