AWB Participates in the TRT World 2023 Forum

Africa Without Borders participated in the TRT World 2023 event, which was held on December 8 and 9, 2023 at the Istanbul Congress Center. Placed under the theme “Growing Together: Responsibilities, Actions and Solutions”, this two-day program constituted a major platform where social issues were discussed from a global perspective. During the event, AWB members attended numerous sessions, including panels, lectures and workshops on various topics. The discussions covered themes such as social transformation, global responsibilities, media perspectives, humanitarian aid, youth engagement and peacebuilding. These exchanges offered our participants an enriched and multidimensional vision of contemporary challenges. As part of the program, AWB members also visited different institutional stands of TRT World. She was thus able to learn about the channel’s broadcast strategies, media approaches and international communication networks. Furthermore, our members had the opportunity to interact with young leaders, NGO representatives, journalists and academics from various countries, thus strengthening our network and our international ties. AWB's participation in this event helped to strengthen our organization's awareness of social issues, while consolidating our vision around collective development, a sense of responsibility and global solidarity. This type of initiative contributes not only to the internal development of our association, but also to the consolidation of AWB's visibility on international platforms.
