AWB participates in the DEIK Türkiye–Africa Summit 2023

Africa Without Borders participated in the DEİK Turkey–Africa Summit, organized on October 12 and 13, 2023. The summit provided a major platform bringing together senior African government officials — including ministers, ambassadors and diplomatic delegations — as well as Turkish entrepreneurs operating in Africa or wishing to invest there. During the event: In-depth sessions focused on investment opportunities in Africa, sustainable projects and key development areas. Strengthening economic relations between Turkey and African countries, increasing the volume of trade and promoting joint projects were highlighted as key priorities. The speakers analyzed the impact of global transformations on African economies and underlined the strategic importance of the “win-win” approach for sustainable partnerships. Diplomatic representatives and the business community highlighted the continent's potential in the energy, agriculture, technology, logistics and infrastructure sectors. AWB actively participated in several panels and thematic sessions. This presence allowed us to closely follow current developments on behalf of African youth and to establish new contacts with representatives from various countries. Furthermore, the summit enriched our perspective on the future of Turkey–Africa relations and provided valuable information and networking opportunities, thereby contributing to our ongoing activities.
