As part of Niger Republic Day, marking the 65th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic on December 18, 1958, Africa Without Borders took part in the ceremony organized by the Association of Niger Students in Turkey, in collaboration with the Niger High Council. This day, with strong symbolic significance for the Nigerien people, took place around a dense and structured program, articulating intellectual reflection, cultural expression and a diplomatic dimension. The activities began with panels and conferences devoted to the history of Niger, its republican values and the contemporary political, social and geopolitical issues facing the country. The cultural sequence was a highlight of the event. She highlighted the richness and diversity of Nigerien heritage through the wearing of traditional outfits representing the country's different ethnic communities, as well as artistic and theatrical performances illustrating history, traditions and national identity. The event also took on a significant diplomatic dimension, with the participation of representatives from the Niger Embassy in Ankara and the presence of delegates from member countries of the Alliance of Sahel States, highlighting the importance of regional dynamics and Sahelian solidarity. For Africa Without Borders, this participation represented a strategic opportunity to consolidate links between African communities in Turkey, to contribute to the promotion of Nigerian culture and to strengthen intercultural and pan-African dialogue. It is fully in line with the vision of the organization, based on solidarity, cooperation and the promotion of a shared African consciousness.
