AWB Football Match

The Brotherhood Match organized by AWB took place in a festive atmosphere at the Mecidiyeköy Football Stadium. The participating teams, Akwabaa and Jambo , embodied each of the strong values and symbols of Africa: Akwabaa , which means “welcome” in Akan (Ghana), symbolizing welcome and friendliness, and Jambo , an emblematic Swahili greeting of East Africa, reflecting unity and friendship on the continent. Throughout the match, participants demonstrated their sporting talents while strengthening intercultural ties and solidarity. This meeting was an opportunity to celebrate African brotherhood through sport, in a dynamic and friendly atmosphere.
