AWB at TRT Next 2023

Africa Without Borders (AWB) participated, in an institutional capacity, in the TRT NEXT event, organized by TRT on June 20, 2023. Placed under the theme “And now, what's the next step? », the 2023 edition of this event offered an in-depth reflection on the changes in the media sector, the impact of digital transformation and the perspectives offered by emerging technologies. In this context, the media, broadcasting policies, digitalization processes and new communication technologies have occupied a central place. The AWB team actively participated in the program to monitor innovative approaches, analyze current trends and strengthen inter-institutional interactions. In this capacity, she attended several workshops, panels and experimentation spaces focusing in particular on artificial intelligence-assisted broadcasting, digital content production processes, data-driven media strategies and next-generation communication technologies. Throughout the event, AWB representatives had the opportunity to meet participants from different countries, exchange ideas, expand their professional networks and explore potential opportunities for institutional cooperation. These interactions also contributed to the emergence of new thoughts aimed at strengthening the presence and visibility of African communities in the media field. For Africa Without Borders, TRT NEXT 2023 was a major experience, both for exploring contemporary media trends and for developing a strategic vision on the future of digital, innovation and the development of media partnerships on an international scale.
