Following the invitation of the Association of Cameroonian Students in Türkiye (CAMTURK), a delegation from the Executive Office of Africa Without Borders (AWB) took part in the 6th Congress of the organization, a major academic and community meeting bringing together the Cameroonian diaspora around strategic reflections on the future of the continent. This congress constituted a privileged space for dialogue, where students, association leaders and committed actors discussed contemporary issues linked to the development of Africa and the structuring role of the diaspora. On this occasion, Dr. Souandaou Athoumani Ali, Coordinator of the AWB Academic Department, spoke as a panelist during a panel dedicated to Pan-Africanism and the contribution of the diaspora to the development of the continent. In a structured and committed analysis, she highlighted the major historical role played by associations and movements of the African diaspora, recalling that they have often constituted laboratories of ideas, spaces of intellectual mobilization and platforms of political influence. She stressed that this contribution still remains decisive today. Faced with geopolitical changes, economic challenges and global strategic restructuring, the African diaspora appears to be a key player in the circulation of knowledge, the transfer of skills and the consolidation of a renewed pan-African consciousness. In this perspective, the Coordinator cited Africa Without Borders as a concrete example of a structured, autonomous and visionary youth movement. She presented AWB as the illustration of a generation aware of international issues, capable of organizing beyond inherited borders, and resolutely committed to the development, sovereignty and self-determination of African peoples.
