African culture and flavors: Solidarity picnic

On the occasion of Tabaski 2024, Africa Without Borders (AWB) organized the “AWB 2024 Solidarity Pic-Nic” activity, a moment dedicated to sharing, solidarity and strengthening community ties between young Africans in Türkiye. The event brought together students, families and members of the African community around a collective meal inspired by African culinary traditions. The day was also marked by cultural exchanges, open discussions, interactive games, as well as moments of conviviality promoting the spirit of unity that guides AWB. This solidarity picnic highlighted AWB's fundamental values: mutual aid, fraternity, inclusion and celebration of African identity. The participants underlined the importance of these initiatives which strengthen the links between the different African nationalities present in Türkiye. The activity ended in a warm atmosphere, marking a new stage in AWB's ongoing commitment to social cohesion, solidarity and the promotion of Pan-African unity.
